We love children... some of us even have a few! However, we ask that you make childcare arrangements and not bring your children under 12 yrs old into the salon. Many guests look forward to their salon experience as personal "pampering" time. Even the best behaved children are subject to elements of danger in the salon environment (sharp scissors, hot irons, chemicals, glass shelves, etc.). For children under 12 receiving services it is required that a supervising adult be present at all times. We will not permit parents to drop off their young children for services. Children under 12 will not be permitted to stay in the salon unless they have a scheduled appointment, no exceptions will be made.
Failure to abide by this policy will result in a re-scheduling of services.

Cancellation & Appointment policies:
To make any appointment at Priel Salon we require either a credit card(Visa or MasterCard) on file. Your credit card won’t be charged before your service with us unless you either don’t show up for your reservation or cancel with less than 24 hour notice. So, we encourage you to keep your reservation and enjoy your experience!
We require at least 24 hours notice by phone or in person for cancellations, emails and/or text messages to our cloud based appointment software are not valid for cancellations . Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of reserved service to credit card on file. "No shows" will be charged 100% of the reserved service to credit card on file. We have a special 72 hour cancellation policy for Keratin treatments, Ombre & Balayage coloring due to the length of service.
Peaceful environment policy:
For the enjoyment of other guests, we ask that you put your phone on "vibrate" or "off" while receiving services. Please be respectful of other guests and limit time & volume while talking on the phone. We ask that you please use headphones while watching videos or playing games on your mobile device with volume.
We want you to be happy and satisfied with your services. Therefore, we do ask that you come in within 14 days of your service(s) for any changes that you may require. We do not offer refunds on services, but we are happy for the opportunity to make things right for you. If at any time you feel you would like to try the services of a different designer, we fully support and recommend that you do so. Our entire team's talent is at your disposal and discretion.
We will exchange lightly used hair care products for other products or store credit within 14 days of purchase. Travel sized items can not be exchanged or returned. Any makeup, brushes, and skincare may be returned within two weeks only if unused and in brand new condition. Store credit issued on retail items can not be used on salon services. Products that are excessively used or have been emptied significantly will not be exchanged or returned.
On more advanced services (ie: Ombre, Baylage, Color Correction, Keratin, Extension) require a pre-paid deposit of 50% paid in person to schedule services. For color services this deposit is refundable with a 72 hr or more notice to change or cancel an appointment. For hair extension clients this deposit is not refundable due to the fact that your hair has been custom ordered and can not be returned to the manufacture.
At times we offer special promotions or discounts on products and services, these are given in person or through our email newsletters. Promotional offers and/or discounts cannot be combined or used in conjunction with other promotional offers. This applies to but is not limited to referral discounts, online, and product promotions.
The state board of cosmetology and the board of consumer affairs have specific rules and regulations stating that no animals are allowed in a salon at any time. Service dogs with official "service animal" vests are the only exception to this rule.
