Priel Salon Policies

Cancellation & Appointment policies:

   At Priel Salon your stylist dedicates your appointment time to servicing you. Many of our stylists are paid commission, when a client does not show up or cancels the night before it is limiting their wages and placing a financial burden directly apron them. We provide all guests with a courtesy confirmation via text or email 4 days prior to your scheduled service and an additional reminder 48 hours prior.

  To make an appointment at Priel Salon we require a deposit be placed on your account equal to 50% of the services to be performed. The deposit is applied to your scheduled services.  

     A 48 hours notice by phone or in person is required for cancellations or rescheduling of any services. Emails and/or text messages to our cloud based software are not valid for cancellations.  
   
    Less than 48 hour notice will result in a loss of deposit equal to 50% of reserved services.

     Failure to show up for your appointment and failure to cancel with at least 48hour notice will result in a loss of deposit.   

We have a special 72 hour cancellation policy for smoothing treatments, Balayage coloring, and color corrections due to the length of service.

Running Late?
We get it, life gets busy sometimes too busy. We will always work hard to get you in and out of your appointment on time, while making sure you leave feeling like you can conquer the world! If you are running late for your appointment, please let us know! If you are more than fifteen minutes late, we will likely ask you to reschedule, and a 50% fee will incur. We will do everything we can to still get you in, while also considering our other clients.

Children policy:

We love children... some of us even have a  few!  However, we ask that you make childcare arrangements and not  bring your children under 12 yrs old into the salon.  Many guests look forward to their salon experience as personal "pampering" time. Even the best behaved children are subject to elements of  danger in the salon environment (sharp scissors, hot irons, chemicals,  glass shelves, etc.).  For children under 12 receiving services it is required that a supervising adult be present at all times.  We will not permit parents to drop off their young children for services.  Children under 12 will not be permitted to stay in the salon unless they have a scheduled appointment, no exceptions will be made.

Failure to abide by this policy will result in a re-scheduling of services.
Our staff and other patrons appreciate your understanding.  

Peaceful environment policy:

For the enjoyment of other guests, we ask that you put  your phone on  "vibrate" or "off" while receiving services.  Please be respectful of other guests and limit time & volume while talking on the phone.  We ask that you please use headphones while watching videos or playing games on your mobile device with volume. 

Service Guarantee:

We want you to be happy and satisfied with your services.  Therefore, we do ask that you come in within 7 days of your service(s) for any changes that you may require.  All services are non-refundable, but we are happy for the opportunity to make things right for you by scheduling a corrective service free of charge.  If at any time you feel you would like to try the services of a different designer, we fully support and recommend that you do so.  Our entire team's talent is at your disposal and discretion.

The service must be a mistake from the service provider, not something you may have changed your mind on. In case of a disagreement, a redo must be validated by management. Please keep in mind that corrective color as well as going from a darker to lighter tone may result in more than one service to achieve your desired result.

Products: 

We will exchange lightly used hair care products for other products or store credit within 14 days of purchase.  Travel sized items can not be exchanged or returned.  Any makeup, brushes, and skincare may be returned within two weeks only if unused and in brand new condition. Store credit issued on retail items can not be used on salon services.  Products that are excessively used or have been emptied significantly will not be exchanged or returned.

Service Deposits:  

On more advanced services (ie: Balayage, Color Correction, Keratin, Brazilian,  Extension) require a pre-paid deposit of 50% paid in advance to schedule services. For color services this deposit is refundable with a 72 hour or more notice to change or cancel an appointment. For hair extension clients this deposit is non refundable due to the fact that your hair has been custom ordered and can not be returned to the manufacturer.  

Promotions:

At times we offer special promotions or discounts on products and services, these are given in person or through our email newsletters.  Promotional offers and/or discounts cannot be combined or used in conjunction with other promotional offers. This applies to but is not limited to referral discounts, online, and product promotions.
